This location makes the guest house easily accessible with Rosslyn just 2km away, 45 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport (OR Thambo) and Midrand approximately 40km. Relax in our beautiful garden or in front of our fire place, play a game of pool or watch your favourite program in our entertainment room. Enjoy the farm like atmosphere with horses and rabbits roaming free at El Gran, where you can find your home from home. Our facilities, service and rates are aimed at the needs of the business traveler/tourist seeking a more personal experience without sacrificing quality and professional service. All our rooms have been decorated with its own style and personality. We have 1 Family Room, 4 single rooms, 7 luxury rooms 2 self-catering rooms and balcony overlooking the gardens. All rates include a complementary breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged. What ever you require we will provide the best.

Reviewed By 469admin- Did not live up-to the website's marketing image - Room for 4 persons - bathroom did not have a door to separate it from the bedrooms or close it off other occupants when using. - entrance door could not open properly and was making a noise - needs hinges oiled. - at the coffee table - only 3 milk contained - for 4 persons?? Yes they did come and rectify this after a complaint. - no table / foot chair to put your luggage on - so you have to put it on the arm chair or the white linen. - order one (1) samosa & spring roll platter (that contained 5 samosas and five spring rolls) on receiving the bill - we were charged for 5 platter's....??? - Richard was very help full and accommodating when we made the booking. - the one singe bed's headrest is loose and kept on bumping against the wall if the person moved in the bed. - NONE of the bedside light were plugged in - so I do not know if they actually worked or were just there for decoration...

OK for a night
Reviewed By Daran RRoom was clean and had everything it needed. If you are looking for someplace to crash for the night, this place is fine. Breakfast was plain and simple. All in all it was an average room, but the cost was also relatively cheap, so in that regard it was perfectly fine. Internet didn't reach into our room which was a minus.

Reviewed By Shaiky786Please don't be fooled by the price guys this place is horrible, bedbugs on the bed, bedsheets torn, toilet built next to unfinished cupboard, if you are going to this place with your partner there will be no privacy in the room because the shower is built in the room, you'll see your partner naked in the shower while you are on bed, absolutely nightmare, parking space soo narrow that you will scratch your car, please with R330 you can get a way better room, the owner does not care and will not refund you if you ask for cancelation. Fridge gets unplugged when the cleaner cleans the room, microwave has sparks when you use it, and microwave is also super filthy, TV is old fashioned probably from the 1990s, it does not work either, wifi is also super slow, please if you really want to avoid drama DO NOT STAY HERE!
