We first opened our doors in July 2014 in what was formerly part of the old post office in West Street, Warwick. We have created a pub that has become part of the local community as well as a destination for visitors. We are a traditional yet quirky pub, with friendly staff, an inclusive atmosphere topped off with a great range of beers and ciders. We are proud to be a free house which means we are able to source our beers and ciders from wherever we choose. You will not find any generic beers from big breweries behind our bar, instead we strive to serve an interesting range of beers from smaller independent breweries, both local and from further afield. We serve a changing selection of up to six cask ales, including our regular Saddleback bitter brewed by Slaughterhouse Brewery only a mile and half down the road. Alongside the casks we have three changing keg taps showcasing some of the big hitting well hopped craft beers brewed around the UK. We are Dog Friendly!
We were in Warwick just for few hours to mooch around this historic place , looking for a pub to pop into WITH OUR DOG Fantastic , just by the town gate and lord Leycester hospital. The welcome was delightful, the beer is excellent and the lovely lady who served , did know her brews as well . You can actually take your OWN FOOD in if you wish ! Sandwiches , chips .... brilliant .... try it
