What a lovely pub! Very friendly and welcoming staff and locals. We ate lunch from the Italian menu and it was delicious! The seafood was incredible, so fresh and tasty! We’re only here for a week but we are planning to go back to try more. It’s definitely the best place we’ve eaten and a nice break from the usual pub grub fare in Dartmouth. We had booked in for lunch but stayed all afternoon for the fantastic local live band. It was the best way to spend a Sunday. The Ship Inn is an absolute gem of a pub and we can’t wait to go back.

We found this gem of a pub in market street, Dartmouth, it was really hot and four of us entered for a cool beer. Really enjoyed this pub , landlord and staff made us feel very welcome, the music was really funky, and in all a good atmosphere. Dogs are allowed in the bar! If you are ever in Dartmouth, make a trip to The Dolphin pub!

Found this place on a day trip to Dartmouth. As outside was full, we sat inside and could see all the safety measures in place due to the current circumstances which was very reassuring My husband had a crab cob and he said it was delicious with a generous filling. It kept him quiet!! I had ham which was also superb. The choice may not be extensive but the quality was great The staff were kept very busy but managed to keep their sense of humour. We hope to visit again
