A magnificent building with great history. City hall was rebuilt after a fire destroyed it in 1922 and it is a really awesome building. Ex French president Charles de Gaulle proclaimed his. Famous speech from its balcony, so much history.

Ernest - Cormier Building

The columned neoclassical building erected in 1926 as the city's main criminal court is today the home of the Québec Court of Appeal. The building had served as a music conservatory for 32 years, starting in 1970. Its massive bronze doors are richly carved and the vast main hall has dome-shape skylights and travertine facing.
