The former Saigon boasts charming French colonial architecture and wide boulevards, usually thronged and choked with traffic. Taxis are an option for seeing the sprawling city. The War Remnants Museum shows the Vietnam War through Vietnamese eyes. Don't miss the impressive Jade Emperor Pagoda. Go to the frenetic Ben Thanh Market for food, flowers or frogs. I was on a time line, so had to choose just a few places to visit. The Antique street is home to a number of interesting shops, whilst some items are newish, there are some treasures to be found, and I found making an offer was not an issue, I used a cash mix of $US and local currency. I spent 2 hours in the street, so allow 1 to 2 hours.
For more than 40 years, we are exporting Antique Furniture and Arts everywhere in the world. Our concept is to offer at the best price to Vietnamese art-lovers a part of the French and European history.
