World-renowned adventure park, Reptile Gardens is a must-see family attraction no matter what your age. We maintain the finest collection of tropical plants, colorful flowers, and exotic reptiles anywhere - we have more species and subspecies of venomous reptiles than any other zoo or park in the world!
The Reptile Gardens was enjoyed by our entire family (kids age 11 & 8)! We did the gator & snake show and loved both. Matt has a great sense of humor while also giving tons of info. We loved all the different types of venomous snakes, Maniac the GIANT crocodile, prairie dog town and petting the Tank the tortoise was my favorite! While it did seem a little overpriced we definitely enjoyed our time there.

Cute little aquarium with some interactive exhibits. You can touch starfish and sea cucumbers and stand in a bubble which puts you in the middle of the fish. The butterfly room is as nice as any I’ve been in with plenty of pathways and many butterflies flittering about. Plants are lovely and there is also some turtles, fish and 2 quail. Good gift shop and the staff is friendly. We went here right when it opened on a Friday and were surrounded by kindergartners the whole time but it didn’t feel too crowded at all. We were there for 90 minutes and then headed out on the bike path which runs by the aquarium. There is also a nice park right there with equipment and stuff for families.

A beautiful small zoo. Perfect for this small town. We've been here a few times and we are impressed each time. A nice variety of animals for a zoo this size. It's clean, the animals are well taken care of, and not much walking is required to see everything. No map is provided but you probably won't need one. Reasonable admission fee. If you're in Watertown, check it out. Hope to come back soon.

Open 361 days a year, the Great Plains Zoo & Delbridge Museum of Natural History is home to more than 1,000 animals from 137 species including 24 endangered species. The 45-acre park offers up-close views to animals often not found in larger Zoos including Tigers, Rhinos, Bears, Primates, Giraffe, and an award-winning Snow Monkey exhibit. The Zoo also includes the Delbridge Museum of Natural History, a rare collection of 150 mounted animals including 38 “vanishing species.”
Nice place to visit and was also clean. The brown bears were the best part. Downfall, went the day before Easter and they were charging more to get it due to the Easter bunny being there, you had to pay the extra even tho we were not there to see the bunny.
