Vinedos Cuna de Tierra

What started as a tour of the vineyard with a light tapas and wine tasting turned into an incredible culinary experience. The relatively unknown wine has been in existence for 14 years and is doing great things with a bright and crisp Semillon in Torre de Tierra. Then came a gastronomical experience that should be in New York. Presentations with all locally grown ingredients were of CIA quality and taste. I was totally amazed. The pairings of the wine were perfect. I haven’t had this great a time in Napa (with perhaps one exception). Totally incredible hidden treasure.

Bodega Dos Buhos

Reviewed By Roxymex - Chicago, United States

This organic winery only 20 minutes from San Miguel Allende has wines that you only can find in fancy restaurants and hotels in Mexico. Including an orange wine that is only found ant Pujol. We did the red pairing and we got in love with their Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has an unique nose of artichoke (The land used to be an artichoke farm) and to the taste is well balance with red fruits medium tannins and medium acidity. With plans to expand this is a fun visit. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

Tres Raices

Tres Raíces arises from the idea of a Mexican family to create a place where they can enjoy what they are most passionate about; the wine. The word THREE refers to each of their children, and the word ROOTS refers to the concept of "putting down roots", developing and caring for the most valuable of the family foundations, as well as caring for the most important part of the vine. plant: the roots.

What an absolutely beautiful place! My husband and I spent a weekend here and enjoyed every minute of it! We stayed in one of the Casitas actually located right next to the growing vines. So quiet and peaceful. The casita was amazing from the cozy bathrobes and super soft towels in the huge bathroom to the king size bed that was like sleeping on a cloud! Our outdoor area overlooked the vineyard for great sunsets and just viewing the beautiful nature surrounding you! Loved the fire pit!! We did yoga on our porch, rode bikes through the vineyard, Wine tasting and had amazing meals in the restaurant! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended!
