Reviewed By kea12_12Visited on June as a late birthday celebration. No-where like it in my mind to stay on the river to have a Palace atmosphere and view of Wat Arun. Beautiful building, gardens and pool, friendly staff and full vegetarian option for the set dinner. Interesting books available at River books and easy access to museums, sights, river and flower market.

Reviewed By EmilyC4043I have just completed my 4th stay at The Sunrise and it was as good as the first stay. Lovely friendly and homely hotel/residence. The staff are really friendly and everywhere is spotlessly clean. The rooms are perfect, great comfy bed and powerful shower and bathtub. It is a quiet place, i often sleep with the window open (mosquito nets on windows) and i have never been disturbed by any noise here from outside or inside. Excellent location being only a five minute walk from Sala Daeng BTS and Silom MRT. 7/11 and Lawsons just around the corner as well as many great places to eat.

Reviewed By BridgetN6If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I booked with Agoda online. Paid and arrived at the villa at 2:30pm only to be told they don't have a room for me and I can go to another branch. I was in a rush as I had dental surgery within the hour and said this is not possible I need to check in drop my bags off and head to the dentist. I was told I can get my refund once I cancel with agoda as they can't refund me. At this stage I was very angry as I had already paid for the accomodation and the extensive taxi of 400tbh to get there to now have to find another hotel and go directly to the dentist with all my bags. The reception then kicked the door behind him and walked away. I had to wait 15min for a taxi. On top this villa did not have a pool as they had drained them saying Covid 19. However no where on their site did they say their pools were drained and my daughter would not be able to use it. The whole reason for me booking in the first place. They then lied to Agoda and said they offered me an upgrade and I refused so they will not refund me. Later can't back and said they offered me to move to another branch. I neither has the time or the inclination to go and move to another branch since their service was beyond shocking. Do not book this villa.

Reviewed By 268ianaI love staying at Blue Chang House, it’s a relaxed refuge from a buzzing Bangkok. Although surrounded by an eclectic array of enticing attractions and the full range of food and entertainment choices, Blue Chang is like a friendly oasis filled with happy plants and interesting little areas to prepare for your adventures or unwind after a hectic day out. For me this place is a perfect hideaway in a great location, supported by a ever helpful staff and all at a good price. Will definitely be back.
