Jack was a wonderful, professional and fun pilot who flew us from Pellston to Mackinac Island (and back a few days later). Once we had collected our luggage in Pellston, Jack walked us next door where we boarded a small plane. Jennifer communicated with me via email to make all the arrangements including arranging for a horse and carriage to meet us at the Mackinac Island airport for our ride to the Grand Hotel. We saved time and enjoyed a great view of the Island on our way over. Their pricing was far better than their competitors and our experience was seamless and easy. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone traveling from Pellston to Mackinac Island.

The Star Line ferry is efficient and friendly. They take your bags and bikes and whatever else at the dock and bring you and your stuff safely to the other side. If you're traveling to spend a few nights on the island your bags are transferred to the hotel seamlessly. If you're traveling back from your stay on the island, they pick them up from your hotel and bring them back and store them on the dock until you arrive. Friendly, cost effective and fast. Parking is conveniently located at the dock for varying prices depending on if it's valet or self park, but your car is secure and monitored.

We had a great experience with Sheplers. The crew was very friendly, the ferry was clean. It had been about 11 years since we had been to the island and we were pleasantly surprised when our Captain took us for a little cruise right under the bridge and gave us some history before heading to the island. It was a very nice treat! We really enjoyed it!
