Our visit left me feeling SO heartbroken for the animals at Zoobic. Many of them looked unhealthy, neglected, and malnourished. The day was scorching hot, but some animals didn't even have water in their enclosures. The enclosures were muddy, sometimes in disrepair, and often lacking shade. I was deeply saddened to see the big cats penned up in such cramped cement spaces. The cats were pacing around in circles, obviously agitated and stressed. Also, there were three baby cubs! Yes, they are cute, but if Zoobic is having a difficult time caring for the animals they already have, they need to be responsible and not allow for more to be born. I understand that there's a limited crew of employees because of the pandemic, and to their credit, all of the employees we met were friendly and helpful. However, the focus of the management should be totally on the care and restoration of these animals and their living conditions. I don't want to tell people not to visit because I want Zoobic to have the finances to care for their animals, but I also can't recommend such a sad experience. My family and I cannot stomach another visit unless some major changes happen in the future.

I was travelling as a solo female and JB and his team put together a custom-made tour based on the places I wanted to see. From start to finish I was very well looked after, given additional experiences that I would not have thought of doing and felt very safe during the whole trip. The highlights for me were the caves tour and Rice Terraces/Waterfall walk in Sagada but the whole trip was amazing and I would recommend JB!
The Aeta's of Subic Bay have long lived within its forests withstanding waves of colonization and have survived independently. However, modernization is slowly forcing the natives to look for menial jobs elsewhere and their culture and know how is at risk of going extinct. Spending time in their forest helps them keep staying and taking care of the place they live in and also leaves the visitor with jungle survival skills. You will learn how to start a fire without matches, use a blow gun and native bow and arrow; cook using only bamboo and make bamboo utensils.
Inclusions: Rice and native fare (typically chicken adobo) cooked in bamboo, Air-conditioned vehicle

Our private guide Miss Chutima Nawsoon, and our driver provided us with a fabulous day. Chutima took care of every detail for us and we could have not been happier with our tour. The tour consisted of only myself, my brother, our guide and driver -- perfect! Thanks so much again!!!!
