Approx. 10000 square feet of antiques, collectibles, furniture, tools, jewelry, primitives and much more. Come stroll through our aisles and go back in time as you take a break from your day or drive.
My GPS was not recognizing their address, so we almost didn't stop. Thankfully, they put a up a large sign that can be seen from Rt. I79 - Exit 67 - Flatwoods. If you like antiques, this is a store you will not want to miss! Clean, neat, large, and a great variety of items - furniture, jewelry, glass, ephemera, textiles, almost everything collectible. I bought some Fenton glass, and my sister bought some primitives. We left happy!!

The people who run this are so nice. The penny press gave us a bit of an issue and the guy fixed it and gave us several pennies that had fallen into the bottom of the machine. There was several pieces of artwork and costumes. If you’re in the area it’s a nice little stop.
The Mountain Laurel Country Store is located in the heart of historic downtown Sutton, West Virginia. Sutton is near the geogrphic center of the state and is only a couple of minutes off of I-79. The store itself is located in the historic W. H. Lee Hardware building located at 400 4th street. The Lee building was constructed in 1900 and the store has restored the original chestnut floors and stamped tin ceiling. The Mountain Laurel Country Store is reminiscent of turn-of-the-century general stores and has a wide variety of locally made items. We have over 40 consigners, most of whom are from West Virginia. We hope to continue expanding and restoring this building and being a part of the overall restoration of this historic small town!
