Lovely walks through the woods in Stranorlar along the river looking at the fairy doors. There's a few different walks to follow with wide paths & maps at various locations & different starting points with small free car parks. You can also cross the footbridge at the end into Ballybofey by Jackson's Hotel & walk past shops, then back over the road bridge into Stranorlar. There's also a few narrower paths on the other side of the road away from the river, through thicker woods, but is a bit steeper.

This little waterfall is just gorgeous. The drive up to it is beautiful, there is ample parking nearby, and it's a short, easy walk. There is some history about the place, with some other short walks nearby through the woods and up atop the overlook on the opposite side of the road. The views from there are fantastic over Donegal and the north. It's a perfect spot for a picnic.

This is a mature parkland course, the best in Donegal and only parkland in East Donegal. Stunning views of Lough Alaan and the Gap, this course is a test for all golfers. Par 68, you will want to play this beauty again and again. Renown for our hospitality, you are guaranteed a warm Cead Mile Failte.
