Wow, a gem in my own neighborhood! Amazing selection on tap. Seasonal, standard and special offerings. Laid back pub setting, live music and amazing BBQ integrated into the whole scene. Speaking of scene, you can see the brewing operation in action if you catch it right. Definitely going back for more!!!

This is our Families weekend summer retreat. Thankfully we only live 5 mins. Away. The BEST! Even when it's busy it's big enough where you can find your own spot and not feel like you are being crowded. The Lake kinda has its own tide as it lowers and raises at certain times so when it is lowered you are able to walk across to one of the islands. They have canoe and kyack rentals as well. Horseshoe pits and volleyball nets as well. You won't want to leave. I can't wait til 2017 summer season! I'll probably be there just look for the blonde with the bright green kyack! Lol

I was a bit skeptical about opening up my wallet and paying the six dollar admission fee. It was worth every penny and we spent at least two hours in the museum. So much to see with friendly people to describe the displays. The town is rich in history and one will never know without not going to this museum. A must visit if staying in the area !

I traveled this trail in August and it was a horrible experience. To be honest, it largely had to do with the fact that the trail is uncovered by trees for the majority of the distance and we baked while we were on it despite extensive sunscreen usage. Additionally there were no places to stop along the way to gain respite. The map advertises ice cream water and bathrooms at a number of stops but in actuality they are quite removed from the trail.
I think if I had visited the trail in October or April it would have been a much better experience.
Also, it is not paved but covered in gravel. Be forewarned.
