Wonderful experience at Tico Lodge sunset yoga. Kelly makes yoga accessible for all levels allowing our group of three to enjoy the experience despite our disparate yoga backgrounds. The class was a great way to slow down and enjoy the beauty and energy of this beautiful area of Costa Rica!

What a beach is supposed to be! Tucked in a nice sized cove, this gem of a beach is au naturale. No commercialized activity at all. Never crowded, you feel like you have the beach to yourselves. Whether you want to sun or sit under the palm trees, the beauty and serenity of this place is addicting. We were in the area for only a few days and visited each day in the afternoon. Others in our group walked the beach in the morning. Decent sized waves provide fun for the teens but not too much trouble for the adults. We will definitely be returning here in the future.

In this piece of paradise you will meet the Amazing Costa Rican Fauna (over 40 animals)surrounded by a tropical garden. In a friendly atmosphere, the owners will introduce you to a wonderful word of local animals. Most the animals are for reabilitation, breeding and for future releaseinto the wild.
I would highly recommend this to visitors who would love to see local wildlife. Certain animals will not be seen on your visit as this is a refuge and most animals are rehabilitated and released back into their natural habitat. The woman who runs this place is very friendly and full of information, she will first do a tour with you and explain how each animal came into her care and if they will be released. When we were there, she fed the snapping turtle and the kinkajou so we could get some great pictures. After the tour you are free to stay as long as you like and take pictures. Hats off to this couple for turning their backyard into a sanctuary for rescued and injured animals..keep up the great work...you guys are amazing ❤
