I am in town for a couple of months for business and I always love discovering the breweries in the town's I travel to. Mankato Brewery is located back in a business Park area off the main road. It doesn't look like much from the outside but you know you can't judge a book by it's cover. Inside the bar sits right in the middle of the plant. While you are tasting the brews you have a view of just about the whole operation. They aren't open during the day, so you don't get the experience of them working while you drink which I have seen in other locations. The beers are tasty. I tried a flight at first. 4 - 5oz pours for $8. My favorite was a hopbiscus which you can get regular or off the nitro. I definitely had a pint of that after my tastings ($5). I will definitely visit again during my stay here in Mankato.

Golfed nine holes today at North Links. Definitely a great course. Twilight golfing after 4:30pm is very worth it. Great for group of friends or solo. Professional atmosphere with will-kept course.
