A very rugged canyon overlook into the Snake river, Idaho. You can drive down a very nicely paved road to the bottom. Their is a small grassy area to have a picnic.

Railroad Park is a nice shady place with nice grassy areas to relax. Home to the Mountain Home Farmers Market and Flea market from May through October. Be sure to check out the caboose of Mountain Home. Lots of parking available.

While the Penny Wall (or Mural) is what was initially created to bring improvement to the neighborhood, and attract visitors, I really enjoyed the other paintings far more. The alley with the Penny Mural has many interesting and wonderful paintings done by local artists, or sponsored by local businesses. They extend even into the alley of the next block.
