John & Linda Alger own this Winery. It's lovely scenic setting right next to the Vineyards and the Wine tasting is done in an upstairs room that's well decorated with a great view. Wine tasting was only $5. and you get a free wine glass with that too! Also there's an opportunity to join a wine club too. During the rainy season it may be a bit difficult getting there via Wilson Hill Rd. also the last 200 yards is a dirt road to the tasting room.

We are a family owned and operated bouquet winery. We grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. As well as; Cab Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, which we use for Blending. We have a beautiful view of the valley from our property. Most Saturdays we offer lunch to purchase as well as live music. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and relax enjoy the view from our picnic tables.
4. Monastery of St. John
his is a wonderful place of rejuvenation. Come by for a service, or just to meet the Fathers and have coffee or tea in the Trinity Room. They also have a store where you can purchase books, as well as: icons, some of their famous hand-dipped beeswax candles, incense, estate-harvested honey, handmade soap, and more! You can also contact them ahead and stay overnight in one of their guesthouses.
