Situated mid-way up the pluff. Beautiful chapel. Gorgeous architecture and view of the lake. Only two other people there when we visited.

Antler Run Distilling

Doug and James Quade, father and son team, own and operate Antler Run Distilling. We are a grain to glass farm distillery. We use 100% New York State grain.

Doug & James are great hosts; however Finley, their dog, may have been even better. The guys tested out their spirits & the gals had hot drinks, where we tried each other's, & every single one was DELISH! They had a fire going outside which added to their phenomenal view. Seriously, a must stop when you're in the Finger Lakes -- You will not be disappointed.

Love the casual and comfortable atmosphere of this small family winery. One of the daughters served us the tasting, and she was super knowledgeable about all the wines. We are case club members, and plan to keep coming back to this awesome winery. Love all the Chardonnay varieties!!

Keuka Lake State Park

Reviewed By jamessF395OT - Queensbury, United States

We went camping here in the Fall. The area is very beautiful, especially with the changing foliage..!! The sites are well spaced and "hedgerows" and trees separate them quite well. clean...no, SUPER clean restrooms and showers. There are no waterfront sites but all are just a short walk or drive down to the beach area. Slips are available for a boat as well as ample parking for trailers. Nice concrete launch ramp too. There is a small fee for this. Even a marine toilet dump station. The park itself is a wonderful place to stay or visit for a day. The lake is crystal clear and probably a good place to recreate in warmer times.... I don't think we have ever camped at a cleaner place. Most sites look like my lawn. Many open areas to play and at least TWO kids playgrounds. I guess the only drawback is that there isn't a great deal to do around the area. We like to explore when we visit a new area and, despite many drives, we really couldn't find much... We found the entire office staff to be very friendly and helpful also. Just a great spot to RELAX...

Yates Cellars

We enjoyed this winery a lot. The winery is in a 1838 home registered with the National Register of Historic Places. You enter into a center wide hallway with living room type seating & a beautiful wood staircase going upstairs (not part of the winery). You enter to the right into a room that may have been a dining room at one time - gorgeous hardwood floors & a nice fireplace with wood-surround and mantle. Thru that room you enter the tasting room with another fireplace. The days we were there, the owner did our tastings and told us all about how he grows & harvests by hand, his grapes. He is passionate about his grapes. His German shepherd dog greeted us & then lay at the owner's feet while he did our tastings. We tried the Red Jacket Reserve - a red blend; Estate Red - Cab. Franc and Merlot blend; Vincent (my favorite) and Premium red Cab. Franc - French Oak. We got a glass of wine & went out on the wide porch that surrounds the home and enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs surrounded by grape vines (including grapes that we were encouraged to sample!) hung on the wrought-iron railings. It smelled like a piece of heaven with all the ripe grape smells! We talked to the owner about his life and how he had flown planes and had interests in old cars like my husband does. We liked it so well that we returned the next day for a bottle of wine to enjoy out on the porch. The owner came out & joined us with his cat and two dogs - Beamer and Rufus. What a nice place - nice wine & nice owner. We will definitely return when back in the area.
