What is known today as the Grand Bank Regional Theatre began as an idea by a few individuals of the community. They thought it would be nice to "put off a show" about the local history. 18 years later, the Grand Bank Regional Theatre is now the 3rd largest theatre in Newfoundland and home to some of the most talented actors in the province. Come visit us and see a performance today!
A must do for any resident or visitor to the Burin Peninsula. Lots of awesome talent and plenty of laughs to be had at this theatre. Hats off to the cast and crew.

This specific Museum is a part or segment of The Rooms located in St John’s but given its content is far more suitably located here on the Burin Peninsula. The Museum does a very good job at presenting the ‘ tools of the Fisherman’s Trade ‘, eg the types of boats used, the equipment, items related to specifics of the Cod Fishery...”Newfoundland’s *former* Currency. One of the better if not the best collection of the Inshore Fishery all being from the pre Dragger offshore Fishery era. The bottom floor of the Museum has some wonderful items especially so those works of art of the various sailing vessels. The Second floor deals more with the agricultural and transportation of the 1800’s to early 1900’s. For CFA’ers ((Come From Away) don’t miss the A to Z exhibition to your Left o. Entry...a must to get a better appreciation of The Rock and it’s Folk.
