A few miles outside of Pristina is a World Heritage site that is worth visiting. The Gracanica monastery is located in a Serbian enclave just four miles from Pristina. Beautifully preserved, the monastery can be reached by taxi quite cheaply. The church is filled with well-preserved frescos from the 14th and 16th Centuries.

The archaeological site includes two churches (one that has an elaborate baptismal font), some city walls, and a small necropolis with a well, three sarcophagi, and one headstone. They are in the process of making additional excavations. To my understanding, beneath the gravel that covers the floors of the ruins are some beautiful stone mosaics, which will be uncovered some when the mosaics can be properly protected. There is no tariff and parking is also free. Enjoy!
