This is a lookout that affords excellent views over Evans Head, and in the right season I believe you should be able to see migrating whales

Great walk Easy grade, accessible for wheelchairs. Lots to see and many places to picnic Animals We saw wallabies, lizards and birds. Lots of plants to see. WWII Several concrete bunkers along the walk to see Black rocks The dark rocks along the beach are amazing, including the beach and several sand dunes to climb. We went with a pack lunch, checked out the campsite there for future references, looked amazing. Beaware that the track along the river can become water logged on high tide. On the date of this review the park seems to be still not accessible from the north. I hope the council fix the footbridge soon, its been at least two years. Definately going again.
