Teapot Hill

Reviewed By furry_mike

We tackled this hike (five adults, eight kids aged 5-9) and had a great time. The little teapots tucked away along the way made things more interesting for the kids and the difficulty level was just right. Tip: We were camping at the Maple Bay campground so instead of driving to the main trailhead, we started our ascent from the Watt Creek day use parking lot, about 2km further southwest down Columbia Valley Rd. This saved us the trouble of piling everyone into cars and driving to the main trailhead (where there is typically insufficient parking) since it was only a five minute walk from our campsite to Watt Creek. Note that the hike was a bit more challenging from this side, however, as the first fifteen minutes involved some steeper sections of ascent. All eight kids managed with minimal complaining though, so it's totally do-able!

Tap-Ins Putting Course

Tap-Ins is the first 18-hole, par-70 putting course in the Lower Mainland. It is four-acres of creatively contoured natural greens and rough, integrated with rock, sand and water, plus a spectacular view of the Cascade Mountains. All shots are made with your putter on REAL greens, just like you'd find at a golf course. It takes a group of four about an hour and a half to play. We like to say it's mini-golf on steroids. Tap-Ins is fun for all ages and skill levels. If you've never held a putter before or if you're a seasoned golfer, everyone seems to have a great time putting at Tap-Ins. PLUS! we have professional sport-lighting for night play during the summer months.

We went to this course for the first time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The greens are well maintained and the landscaping made this a beautiful setting. We even had a nice morning surprise as we watched a deer bound over the greens and wandered through the trees grazing for a while. We found the Staff to be very helpful and friendly. We will certainly be coming back!

I took my 10 year old daughter to Giggle Ridge and both her and I loved it! The setting in the trees and at the lake is very cool! The rides were great and not just little kid rides; even parents were screaming and having a blast. It was $30 for the entire day with unlimited rides. The staff are friendly, the grounds and rides are well kept, lots of bathrooms and even a concession stand. We will be back but hopefully without rain :)
