Inside the Exhibition room, 346 collectors' items illustrating its history and challenges. This is THE PLACE to go in Provence if you visit outside the lavender season. The museum has incredible displays with text in English, especially the portable lavender stills which were taken to the fields to distill lavender at the source. The history of the 200-year lavender industry in Provence is described in detail in very clean and air-conditioned museum. Yes, they have a shop where the young ladies are very friendly and helpful and speak English. Outside you can sit on a bench and have your photo made with a huge field of lavender in the background. The Lavender museum is definitely worth the price of admissions!
