Visited after spotting a sign for the Tower Trail when leaving Dollar. The tower is closed permanently which is a shame, but you can wander around the outside. Head uphill past the local church (left) and residents houses (right) and through a gate into a large field. Due to its location on a small hilltop, it is visible from miles around and offers great views over the surrounding countryside and the Firth of Forth. We had the place to ourselves so had ample opportunity to soak in the surroundings in peace and quiet. Wonderful!
