Mornings at the farm is our favorite time. All of the animals in the barnyard are just waking up and you can feel the peace in the air. The horses are always happy to see us and we like to believe that they know it's not just because we are getting ready to feed them. Guests will get a chance to accompany Belle (the horse girl) and see this first hand as we get the day started at the farm.

My sister is a hand weaver and is always on the look out for fibers. This is an incredible store with yarn, yarn and more yarn! Luckily for me the store had a cozy sofa and chairs so that I could wait for my sister as she pored over the many offerings of yarn and color. Mostly the customers were knitters and the store offers classes and "get-aways". My sister was in yarn heaven. This is a very short drive from Asheville and worth the detour for crafters. The store also offered felting supplies, buttons and will wind your skein into a ball of yarn while you wait. Two very knowledgeable sales ladies on the floor when we arrived. And they happily shipped my sister's purchase at a very reasonable rate.
