We visited both Paradise and Sunrise areas of MRNP....Gorgeous view and great hiking in both locations! Driving the area was even gorgeous...I might even like this park better than Glacier NP...it is amazing!! At least in Summer :)

Ashford Creek Pottery is a must-stop business whenever you are in the vicinity or as a destination. Ashford Creek is not a junky, touristy, made-in-xxx souvenir shop. It is a fantastic collection of the work of local artists and authors. Rick and his staff are congenial and a wealth of knowledge. There is no expectation that you make a purchase but obviously that would be appreciated. Don't forget to ask their advice on what to do in the area. . .he might have a pleasant surprise for you. When we eat at local restaurants, I always recommend to other travelers a stop at Ashford Creek Pottery. Ray A.
