This visit to Purdue feels safe. Everyone wears masks and respects social distancing. I did not see as many students around. Judging from my daughter’s comments most classes are available virtually, so actual classes are less full and fewer students are around.

If you love history, you'll want to visit Fort Quiatenon even if your visit is brief. This historic fort is quiet for most of the year and really comes to life each autumn during the Feast of the Hunters' Moon. There is a small museum - be sure to check ahead for opening hours. There are plenty of tables for a picnic and a pleasant view of the Wabash River. Recommended!
