My 7 year old daughter had such a fabulous evening learning to throw a pot with Alex. He is such a patient and fun teacher who coped admirably with her overflowing enthusiasm. She is thrilled that she made bowls and a cup she will be able to use (once they are finished being fired). Highly recommend this experience and next time I will bring the rest of the family and definitely have a go myself.

What an amazing place - shop, museum, tea shop all in one fascinating place. So much local history is preserved in the shop and surrounding buidings. Museum items sit alongside craft items for sale in a beautifully displayed mix. And great cake! It's definitely worth a dedicated visit.

After finding our way up the hill,we saw this beautiful lake, with loads of ducks and geese and swans, very tame, the gift shop sold bags of seed to feed them. There is also a large cafe We sat there for an hour or so in the sun, very relaxing. There is a dragon sculpture in the middle of the lake spouting water.
