Despite the strong winds that bend the coconut trees and make waves appealing to surfers beyond the reefs, the beach is indeed very pleasant and ideal for families with children or elderly! The stretch of beaches is long and goes up to Buraquinho, where the polluted waters are not advisable for bathing! The orderly promenade on top of the dunes makes a walk or riding a bike really enjoyable activities day or night. Getting there isn't easy be it by bus or car, make sure to have Waze or any navigation system active, but the decision is a wise one. The few beach stalls available tend to overcharge, so be ready.
