Wilkes-Barre serves as the county seat for Luzerne County, an area containing not one, but four of Pennsylvania's State Parks. Whether its fishing in Frances Slocum State Park, whitewater rafting through Lehigh Gorge State Park, cross-country skiing across Nescopeck State Park, or exploring twenty-two waterfalls at Ricketts Glen State Park, there is something for every outdoors enthusiast. If the indoors is more your thing, the city is also home to the Mohegan Sun Pocono Downs casino.

Seven tubs Nature area is the perfect destination for a hike in the woods. A hike on large rocks, across wooden bridges overlooking waterfalls. If you walk to the left and go to the top you can meander down all the tubs. In the summer, you slide down rocky slides in a beautiful stream with natural ‘tubs’ for swimming. You can spend 10 minutes or all day checking this out. If you are not from the area, the site will blow your mind. Be careful on the rocks and be prepared for steps and climbing. With the visit! Park rangers are available for questions- port-a-potties in parking lot. Enjoy nature!

We saw John mulaney and Pete Davidson at the fm Kirby center and it was absolutely amazing. The staff did a great job of getting the line out of the cold while the early show finished. Although, due to their quick turn over they did not have time to clean the theatre between shows and it was covered in trash and spilled food, so that was unfortunate. It was also quite bizarre that they made everyone put their phones in cases. There was someone who got around it, security looked right at her on her phone and said nothing, so I guess it wasn't that important that the phones be put away.

A great location if you are attending a concert or other large event. It is within walking distance to Wegmans, restaurants and hotels.

Based on the review before me, "Unimpressed", my husband and I went because of this semi-negative review which stated that this property took the Covid-19 virus very serious and everything was clean. The place was immaculate and the staff was so nice from check-in, casino floor, restaurants, and patrons. All wore masks correctly and we got the break we so sincerely needed. I'm not sure why "Unimpressed" picked on the very unimportant aspects of the stay but even the things he picked on ...the parking lot, the bed, the bathroom light ... none of these things bothered us in the least (btw, the bathroom light never went out on me) and we have visited many other casinos as well. The only negative thing about the room was that there isn't a refrigerator in every room; there is a $15 charge but that wouldn't deter me from going back. Next time, I will make sure I am there when there is live horse racing ... they ran the day before our stay and the day after we left :(.

We walked in and were greeted by Lauren. She quickly located a table that gave us a perfect view of the entire restaurant. She gave us a quick look at what Arena has to offer and alerted a server to our presence. We enjoyed the the attentiveness and courtesy. Evening lived up to our expectations!!!! ????
