It was very easy to find, get tickets, and board with our vehicle. Be sure to exit your vehicle before the ferry fills up, or it's hard to get out of your car in the small space! Deck and cabin offer beautiful views of Death's Door and the smaller islands.

What a relaxing way to soak up some sun and enjoy a truly beautiful place, Beach is made up of smooth rocks vs sand...great for skipping on the waters surface. Water looked clean and inviting. A couple of neat photo ops here. No pets allowed.

We contacted Island Rides Bicycle Rental on the 4th of July and they had bikes ready for us within a half hour. The well mapped bike route took us to many of the sweet spots on Washington Island and it was a perfect way to spend the day. We sipped wine slushies, became members of the Island Bitters Club, journeyed to the far end of the island for soup and sandwiches, and stopped for ice cream. We packed food and planned to only be out for a couple of hours, but we enjoyed the tour and stops so much that we didn't need our food and took the whole day. I would highly recommend as a fantastic way to see the Island.

My hubby and I loved this place so much we didn’t want to leave. The smell was incredible! Lavender everywhere! I have submitted many photos. There was everything you could imagine that was possible to contain lavender in inside the shop- candles, dried lavender, lotions, oils, cookies, marshmallows, beverages, chocolates, sandwiches, candies, potpourri, etc... outside the tireless were gorgeous and in full bloom! The way they were planted were so pretty to look at. I didn’t care for the lavender food items, but my husband liked them. The service was okay, but everything else stacked up to make this a ‘5’ trip!

This chapel is a beautiful and pristine work of art. As a seasoned woodworker, it has to be among the most impressive structures I have ever been in. Joinery is all hidden and logs are hand hewn. The design and execution of this chapel is truly awe inspiring. Being there will no doubt inspire a spiritual stirring from those of faith or those in need. The prayer path around the chapel is a 15 minute stroll with very relevant scripture plaques at regular intervals. In my opinion this is the most soulful & inspiring things that Door County has to offer. It will become a regular trip for me.
