This is very nice park close to Twin city and neighboring area. Best part is water fall. Water fall is quite wide can feel cold and warm water same time. You beed to buy state park permit and due to COVID-19no single day pass was available we have bought year pass online for 38$. You can visit any park in Wisconsin.

We loved our first time trying Pitchfork Brewery tonight for take out! The big pretzel was soft and warm, the shredded pork pizza was super, and the veggie with garlic & rosemary infused olive oil was even better! My husband had the pulled chicken sandwich and really enjoyed that! Online ordering with pick up at their window was simple and fast. We will go again for sure!

After having an early dinner out, we decided to take a walk through the park and out onto the dike. There were a lot of people out walking solo, in twos, and with dogs. There was a lone cyclist who looked like he was sight-seeing. It was a warm Fall day with a breeze, and very nice. It was pretty quiet except for the people roaring around in a speed boat just off of the swimming beach and north of the dike. I thought that was no-wake; I could be wrong, but they could get a big ticket some time from one of the sheriff's departments. Other boats were going slow. I guess that needs to be patrolled more often! It was not safe for other small boats. Of course, there was a knot of waiting people we had to walk through to go back to our car. I don't know if Afton's dinner cruise was running late, or if they were early. The park was very neat and clean. A lot of people were enjoying it. Nice walk.
