This is a must visit for families with kids. I drove there in a rental car and it wan't difficult to reach and find the place. The staff at the entrance will arrange for a buggy to fetch you from the carpark to the reception area which is a short distance away. Room wasn't 5 star standard but was clean and well equipped. People have to temper their expectation when it comes to farmstay. Maybe because I went during weekday, the staff there were polite and friendly when dealing with us unlike what i read in some earlier reviews. Overall, very well maintained and tourist friendly estate. I went during late Nov and the weather was great for leisure walk around the sprawling farm and open spaces with plenty of greenaries. There are places for feeding rabbits, goats, cow and ducks (duck parade). There is even a children playground. Day gets dark early (around 5.30pm) so the farm activities mostly end at that timing. For those who booked accomodation, there is a free night activity. Ours was cake baking.

Definitely a stand out attraction very beautiful and peaceful, stunning for photographs. It's a very spiritual place you will remember for a long time after visiting as it's very high up in the mountain, but it's definitely worth visiting. Just bring what you need with you though as no shops or drinks or food etc. from memory. Definitely highly recommended, really beautiful.

The Miaoli Hakka Culture Park was modern and spacious. It introduced Hakka culture and customs in detail and gave a good insight on the ethnic characteristic of the Hakkas. Well worth a visit if you are in Miaoli.
