Thanksgiving Point offers an array of different activities including the 55-acre gardens Ashton Gardens, Butterfly Biosphere insect zoo and butterfly conservatory, Museum of Natural Curiosity, Museum of Ancient Life, Mammoth Screen 3D theater, Water Tower Plaza, Harvest Restaurant, Farm Country and a 18-hole golf course.
We got the passes that gave us entry to all the museums. We made it to Farm Country, the Butterfly Biosphere, Museum of Ancient Life, and Museum of Natural Curiosity. Our kids, ages, 14, 12, 9, 9, 9, all said it was the best day of our family vacation, which is high praise since we also did Lagoon and Hogle Zoo in the last few days! Each museum was just the right size to enjoy without being overwhelmed. The Museum of Ancient Life (Dinosaur Museum) had world class exhibits. My 14 year old was engaged the entire time. Definitely worth the $!

This is a truly amazing kids museum. So many ways to stimulate their minds from science and music to role play and physical activity. Staff was friendly and the museum was well kept. I'll definitely come back.

We had a group of 7 men from our reunion go here for the morning. They had a phenomenal time. They were able to get an unlimited pass for $10 a person and kept playing game after game. They spent nearly two hours playing and came back to the reunion sweaty, excited and thrilled to have gone.

Roam among the dinosaurs, explore a Carboniferous Forest, and dive deep into a Cretaceous Ocean at the Museum of Ancient Life. Come visit one of the world’s largest displays of mounted dinosaurs with 60 complete dinosaur skeletons in our galleries, along with more than 50 hands-on exhibits. This is the destination to enjoy learning about our pre-historic animals, playing with toy dinosaurs in the Erosion Table, and digging for fossils in the quarry dig.
Wow! You are greeted by a large dinosaur, that had a tough life. I was greeted with warmth and a genuine hello. They gave me a map. Definitely use the map or you can get turned around pretty easily. Wear comfortable shoes; I spent 3 ½ hours and could have stayed longer. So much great information and new findings. There are some fun hands on areas for kids to have fun, but also learn. Would I go back - YES!
