Welcome to Holmes Glass! We are currently closed due to covid restrictions. However online orders from stock are available via the website. We look forward to updating you. We are a Father & Son team with a combined experience of 74 years in glassmaking. Using traditional glassblowing and handmade techniques, we continue to explore new forms and design. Our ranges begin with the tinie paperweight, and move through Vases, Bowls, Small & Seasonal Gifts, Paperweight and large scale sculptures. Best Wishes Holmes Glass
Really enjoyed our visit to Holmes Glass. Fantastic display of glass Art work. Met Peter and Andrew Holmes who were only too pleased to stop work and explain the finer points of their craft. The glass pieces are surprisingly affordable considering the skill and artistry that is involved in their creation.. Bought a piece and Peter was happy to make another in my daughters favourite colours.

I purchased a Lochcarron of Scotland 100% cashmere scarf at the Edinburgh Castle gift shop after looking at numerous other cashmere scarves on the Royal Mile. I didn't come to Selkirk, but I'm writing this review anyway because I really liked the quality of the cashmere of the scarf I bought. I used it during my time in the Highlands, including a very windy day in Skye, and the scarf kept me very warm and it is so soft. It's expensive (102 pounds), but it was worth it!
