Appreciated the time the hostess Jeannie- took to outline the historic area and walking tour for me...Especially found it interesting to learn about how this beautiful town was saved from destruction during Sherman's March To The Sea.....

I didn't find this place listed among the must-sees, but it should be. Lovely art exhibition, as well as a beautifully restored theater, school room, & (my favorite) parlor from Boxwood House. Story relating the parlor to Gone with the Wind was fun.

My daughter and I visited Heritage Hall on a Sunday afternoon. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We could tell that she loved her job and we had a fabulous tour! Please note that visitors must make an appointment and masks are required. When setting up our tour, the guide reminded us of the mask requirement and social distancing, which we appreciated. I highly recommend visiting Heritage Hall.

We toured both of these nicely furnished homes with a well informed guide and enjoyed both houses. The contrast between the two houses was striking.
