I've been visiting Cameron Highlands almost yearly since I was small. Until just recently we discovered this hidden gem which is striving to preserve our very own Malaysian Cultural Heritage about Mah Meri, an unique Aboriginal tribe in Malaysia. They had a small collection of amazing wooden masks and statue wholely handcrafted with just simple tools. All mask's attached jaw is a seperate mov able part, which I find quite different compared to masks from other culture. We are fascinated by their beautiful arts and find it meaningful to learn something new about our native culture! If you liked cultural arts, I would say this gallery is very enjoyable.

This is one of my favourite attractions during my short stay in Ipoh. There’s an entrance fee of RM6 per adult but well worth every penny! Take a walk down memory lane as the museum features lots of antiques and artifacts of bygone years in old Ipoh. Old typewriters, cassette tapes, books, F&N bottles, utensils, furniture and more! Lots of setup of scenes such as barber shop, hair saloon, classroom, kitchen, provision shop and more. Wonderful place to explore if you wish to revisit life in the 1950s and beyond! Not to be missed if you are an avid photographer!
