Bournemouth’s seven miles of beach and exceptionally warm microclimate make it a favorite of U.K. travelers. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re a watersports fanatic (try surfing lessons!) or just want to let your kids splash around in the calm waters. For a traditional Bournemouth vacation, rent a classic beach hut.

Located north of Bournemouth, the centre has two swimming pools, a sanarium, large gym, aerobics studios, spin studio, FeelGood Factory and on-site catering. Over 800 people learn to swim here with the Bournemouth Swimming Academy and there are more than 100 fitness classes for all abilities. The centre has three tennis courts plus eight floodlit 3G rubber crumb artificial training pitches used regularly by Play Football leagues and community groups.
P elhams park is one of 6 leisure centres under the BH LIVE umbrella. It is situated in the little village of Kinson around 4miles from Bournemouth city centre. It is served by an excellent bus service provided by yellow buses and more bus company's. It is not the largest of leisure centres within the BH LIVE umbrella, but it has a cafe, more than adequate gym, 20 metre main pool ( which you can hire out for events) and a warm learner pool. The leisure centre servesca large population, and because of this on peak periods you have to wait to go swimming, this being the only draw back I can see . The centre has a cafe, and soft play area to keep the youngest amongst us entertained. P elhams has a multitude of classes and also gym memberships. Please ask the staff for the membership you require, they are more than happy to help. The centre has a sauna for the more adventurous amongst us. Under the BH LIVE umbrella it also caters for exercise referrals, which is a 12 week course at a reduced rat accessed bybGP referral.. This includes gym and swim. For those that are less mobile there is the feel good factory. This can be accessed through the back up package and is 8wks long. This is for people with limited mobility, and the main aim is to 're introduce gentle exercise using motorised machines of various types. The centre boasts Astro turf five a side football pitches. The centre is disabled friendly, with an access able toilet downstairs , and a lift to access the gym. There are a variety of changing rooms for the pool, including 2 family changing rooms, disabled access rooms. There is 2 hoists situated poolside for the disabled swimmers to gain access. The pricing is not too bad with an adult swim costing £4.95. Kinson village has a large Tesco, and plenty of hairdressers, Costa Coffee, eateries, and charity shops. Kinson also has a library, and within that , there is the Bournemouth housing team. P elhams is worth visiting but like I said go early in weekends and holidays.

What a brilliant addition to the park. Proper barista coffee and if you want to take away the cups are all compostable. The cake looked lovely. Dogs on leads allowed inside. Lovely, friendly staff. Hope it is well supported by the community.
