We are very happy to have managed to visit The Reinet House, early in the morning, before our departure. It's a lovely Cape Dutch house with large, high ceiling rooms, filled with history. The house, which is now a museum, was built in the early '80's as a parsonage. Rev. Andre Murray, from Scotland, first lived in it and then, following his death, his son, Charles Murray. We found the museum very informative and definitely recommend a visit. Happy to see the vine Rev. Charles Murrary planted in 1870, still alive and green

We were blown away by the two museums on opposite sides of the road. So much love and care has gone into this privately owned museum. On the one side are a collection of beautifully kept cars and motorcycles and on the opposite side is a little shop, some more cars, a pub, a vintage caravan that sells milkshakes, a vintage workshop and garage. Staff were very friendly and the coffee was excellent.
