The town is a member of the Calgary Regional Partnership, a cooperative of municipalities within the Calgary Region. Okotoks has emerged as a bedroom community of Calgary. According to the 2016 Census, the town has a population of 28,881, making it the largest town in Alberta.

The reason I keep returning is the superb quality of their products and the genuine sincerity of the staff and owners. Enjoyed stopping at The Big Rock on our road trip. Very cool how it got there and where it came from. It’s a nice stop to get out and stretch your legs.
