In Ocean City, Maryland's only coastal community, the beach is the main attraction. Stroll the three-mile Boardwalk along the seafront while sampling salt water taffy and other old-fashioned treats. The summer season explodes with special concerts, beach bonfires and kids' activities. Nature enthusiasts will love nearby Assateague Island, home to deer and wild ponies. Once a tiny fishing village, it now spans 10 miles, but anglers still flock to the area waters; it's known as the White Marlin Capital of the World.

The thing I love about O.C. Boardwalk is....Everything! It's an undeniably fun, clean, and entertaining place to hang out all day. I visited for the winter holidays this time and the weather permitted many businesses to still be open. Arcades, Thrasher's Fries, Ripley's, swimming, relaxing, surfing, people watching, tram rides, amusement parks, restrooms, volleyball, shaved ice, restaurants, seafood, street performers, shopping and so much more...all on the boardwalk.

Took a walk out on the Pier to see what people were catching. Some people were surf casting for Spots I guess we didn’t see anything caught but it was windy and the views were great. We did see some Dolphins swimming. A nicely run Pier.
