This is the chapel where Saint John of the Cross celebrated his first mass. Medina was the birthplace of the great mystic; it was also the town where Theresa of Avila met Saint John. The chapel is beautiful.

This is a beautiful castle built in the 15th and 16th centuries. It is a Gothic-mudejar style castle. I could not attend the guided visit, but the exterior is just amazing, surrounded by pine trees. The entrance is free to the first floor of the castle. Do not go on Sundays in the afternoons, it closes at 2.00 p.m. on Sundays.
