If you are looking for a good tailor in Bangkok to order some nice shirts or a suit, I can fully recommend British Custom Tailors. Their shop is centrally located in the Terminal 21 shopping mall and the guys there are super friendly and helpful. They really know their business and their consultation is one of a kind! The price is definitively very fair for what you get regarding quality and professionalism. I am 100% satisfied with the shirts I made there and will definitively visit them again when I will be back in Bangkok!

The section between Asuk and Nana is actually one of the expensive residential centers, you have Terminal 21, Robinson, 11th Street very upgraded, and you can export everything there, street food restaurants, bars, hotels, pubs, very close to the train, 13th street has sports clubs and you can see All the football games and beer, you actually have everything in this area, no need for a motorcycle, every street corner you will find motorbikes, the prices of condos are up to $ 1000, if you choose to live one station on a train far from there you will pay half price for the same condo ,i live soi 13 last 2.5 years .. jak biton

I had heard about Soi Cowboy and asked an expat friend to take me there. We went at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and it was dead quiet – shows how much my expat friend knows! We found that it starts to get going about 7 o’clock in the evening. After looking around on my first visit, I found that the Tilac Bar was my favourite for subsequent visits. “Tilac”, is the Thai word for “Darling”, I was told, and I met some right darlings there! I was also told that the Tilac Bar featured in the film Hangover 2, which was set in Bangkok. Apparently it’s the place in the scene where the main characters are offered guns for sale and Alan lets off one and hits the ceiling! On a normal evening (when no guns are for sale!) the tilacs start dancing some time between 7 & 8 pm. The good news is that it’s Happy Hour until 9pm with drinks at normal bar prices before doubling. Make sure to order a couple of rounds shortly before 9pm, so that you can drink for another hour at sensible prices, unless you buy a lady drink which is double the price at any time. Some of the tilacs offer their companionship, but I always left before 10 pm, so as not to have to buy an expensive drink, and don’t know what that involves. In the words of the Roxy Music song, "Love Is The Drug", you can guess the rest.
