The 5 Best Shopping Malls in Cornwall, England

December 10, 2021 Velvet Mowry

Cornwall is the extreme southwestern peninsula of England. It has the longest stretch of continuous coastline in Britain and it is one of the sunniest areas in the UK. With picturesque villages, Celtic ruins, light blue waters, gardens and parks and unique architecture it certainly is among the most scenic areas of England. Home of many events and festivals and the land of Cornish pasty, it is definitely worth visiting.

Bude is the best coastal town and beach I have visited in UK. Caters for everyone. The beach and walks are stunning. Independent shops; not too many tacky seaside shops. No arcades! Well chilled and friendly. The sunset at Widemouth not to be missed.

Visited the market last Wednesday, has been massively upgraded since my last trip. found some great bargains, eat my breakfast at the corner cafe which was lovely and reasonably priced, visited flikz games and dvds and the lovely chap did me a great deal on some funko pops for my son then I got myself a cracking new vape from Dan the raindance man next door. All in all a great couple of hours out, I arrived at 9.30 and left at 11.30, seemed to be getting very busy as I left. Will visit again very soon

Trago

We regularly holiday in Looe, (4th year this year) and have made a trip to Trago Mills an annual trip. Such a quirky building and external decoration makes it look a bit Disney like West Country theme park. The store itself is absolutely packed with items, literally anything and everything you want can be found in Trago. The prices as well appear to be below market average in an area of the UK that isn’t really know for cheap pricing. The choice is unreal. We always manage to walk away having spent hundreds and after picking up a wide variety of goods that are not normal holiday purchases. This year the range didn’t seem as wide but I would probably attribute this to covid. This being said we still manage to fill up on school supply’s, West Country produce, clothing and camping gear, even some early Christmas bits. My eldest daughter goes to university this September and she managed to get bits she needed at a great price. Moving on to the staff, they are helpful, polite and very welcoming. Would recommend this place for anyone just for the experience and defy you not to find something you didn’t realise you needed in your life.

Part of the final stage of our Christmas shopping found us at the new Marks and Spencer’s Fraddon, Kingsley Village. A rare chance also to see it quiet and have a pleasant shopping experience as well as some breakfast. My partner and I both order a hot dish of Salmon and Scrambled Eggs along with a Bacon Roll. Pretty damn good and great value too. This M&S is lovely and apart from the lack of parking which has been commented on before it’s a great store. The staff are polite and proud to work there which is also great to see.
