San Diego embodies laid-back California culture, complete with a Boardwalk, surfing communities, and outstanding Mexican food. Breathe in the fresh ocean air at Sunset Cliffs Natural Park, then gobble down a fresh fish taco at a La Jolla seafood joint. The naval aircrafts at the USS Midway Museum will have you standing at attention. A free Sunday concert at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion is the perfect way to unwind after a Saturday night bar-hop in the thumping Gaslamp Quarter.

San Diego County's largest farmers' market brings farmers to the city and people to the table every Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm covering five blocks in the thriving Little Italy neighborhood. More than 210 tents feature California farmers and fishermen, artisan food makers and crafters. Buy fresh produce, just baked bread, meat, fish and cheese, jams, sauces, art and more and enjoy live music, year-round, rain or shine.

If you are visiting Little Italy in San Diego, be sure to time your visit for the Saturday’s farmers market. There were so many vendors with a variety of gifts to bring home and the best produce and fruits to snack on during your trip. We had so much fun. The food was amazing and the people very friendly. One of my favorite markets
