Once a shipbuilding city, Newcastle's flashier claim to fame is nightlife. Throw in a heap of premium restaurants serving foods from all over the world and it's no wonder young partiers choose to blow their hard-earned (or not-so-hard-earned) cash in Newcastle. While these amenities are certainly a draw for the hipsters and culture-seekers, it's the locals that make Newcastle a truly special place to visit. "Geordies," as they are often called, embody the pride, industriousness and resilient spirit of their city.

I've now done 32 escape rooms around the country and in Budapest. I completed Electric City at EscKey last night and it has gone up to my top 5. This company are one of the best I've seen for immersiveness, story telling and interesting puzzles. Each of the rooms tells the story of some part of Newcastles history. Deffo recommend

World famous reporter and photographer Joshua James Rowland, A.K.A Roly has been kidnapped by a serial killer calling himself, The Enigma. Can you help Roly escape his fate and solve the clues he has left around the room for you? Can you solve his clues, play his games and escape... The Room!!!
Just been with 5 other family members to this little gem of escapist frivolity.....kids to adults thoroughly enjoyed the experience and got well immersed into their code breaking stride. Entry to a normal terrace house belies the fact that is a marvelous escape room, well presented, with a well decorated and authentic drawing room. Fun had by all and at time of writing this, 3rd on leader board....could of been top but for the wife muddying the waters!!! Get yourself down there, you will not be disappointed. "Those Pesky Kids"

Visited for sons 16th birthday, with 4 teens aged from 15 to 18, myself and husband, we played the hand in the cabin escape room and we manged to escape with a few helpful hints. The member of staff who welcomed us was very friendly and set the scene of our escape before sending us on our way. The way the locked boxes and safes popped open from different key pads was very well done! We will be back to do the rest of the rooms, and will be bringing my other children too. Highly recommended.
