The Ivelandsveggen is a cut in a low hill, close to the mineral display at Akle. This roadcut shows the geology of the Evje-Iveland very clearly. Many geologists have studied this cut, and one of them came to the conclusion that the mineral deposits in the area are the result of partial smelting of the bedrock.
