Hillworth park

We were finding somewhere to turn around and came across this little gem! My 6 year old loved it as she's tiny and struggles with the bigger climbing equipment. My 2 year old thought it was brilliant!! The gates open inwards so little ones can't just push their way out so it's much safer. We didn't get much of a chance to see the rest but it looked good from where we were. I feel the gym equipment was too close to the little park as my 2 really wanted to play on it but it wasn't really suitable. All in all very pleased to have stumbled across this today! Wish we'd had a chance to get to the cafe as it looked good. Will definitely go back!

Kidz About Play And Party Centre

Booked some pumpkin picking for 10am on Sunday the 25th October. We were meet by a friendly chap who signed us in and gave us a quick chat about the venue. Our Daughter loved the pumpkins, scary stones and painted pallets. The activity was COVID safe with relevant cleaning process in place and li9mited numbers on entry made it all feel nice and safe. Prices for pumpkins and toys were very reasonable too. Don't forget your wellies if its been raining. We are hoping to come back and try the softplay soon. Thanks

Brokerswood country park

I must admit, I got this at a very reasonable price and given the disclaimer about building work on site, I was a little suspicious. However it mostly proved to be unfounded. The park is set in nice woodland around a lake . It appeared to be understandably popular with schools for the learning activities offered. We were woken by building 'noise' on day 1 at 8.05 am which wasn't ideal. However this didn't continue. I believe that more lodges are being built. I wouldn't let it stop me from booking but I wouldn't also be surprised if people did experience further noise. The disclaimer says that building work isn't taking place near the lodges and it's true you can't really see signs of it but I would still be cautious if you are a light sleeper. I don't especially want to get up at 8.05 on my holiday but it might not trouble others. The lodge we stayed in was excellent. Apart from a (reported) unsightly coffee/tea stain in the bedroom, the décor is lovely and I would review it highly. One word of warning on the hot tub (which we have fed back) - the starting temperature was 34. As you can't get in until 4, there isn't enough time left for you to crank this up and feel the benefit. 34 isn't nearly warm enough and so I think if people are booked into the lodges then the default temperature should at least be 37. This wasn't a problem for day 2 onwards but a bit disappointing on day 1 when you are on a 4 night break. That said, none of this would stop me from saying it's one of the best lodges and lodge breaks we have enjoyed. Very nicely positioned between major attractions such as Bath/Wells/Cheddar Gorge/Glastonbury.

I love taking my kids to boomerang. They always have so much fun. They have just had a revamp and now its even better. Something for all ages and its always so clean. The food range is brilliant and great prices especially the kids meals. Can't wait for out next trip there.
