Lollipops pottery painting studio

We are a family run business, and having children of our own we understand the joys, the challenges and the energy needed to keep little ones entertained! Lollipops Pottery Painting Studio is the ideal place to bring your little ones and be assured that they will be kept busy for hours at a time. Whether you are just popping in for a drink and a cake in our coffee shop, creating a mini-masterpiece, or you want us to organise a pottery party for them and their friends, the studio is always ready and waiting to be enjoyed. All of our studio assistants are experts in pottery painting, and can advise you at any time about items to paint, colours to use, and they aren't too bad at making a great latte in the meantime! We have moved to a beautiful rural location, with ample parking and outdoor space, very near to Leicester city. If the sun is out, you can enjoy the countryside views and get inspired, or if the rain is pouring, you can warm up inside our cafe with a mug of hot chocolate. Our studio is fully equipped with ample space for parking buggies, and a baby change station. We also have a dedicated Party Room which seats over 24 little ones so plenty of room to get creative and have fun. Booking in advance is strongly recommended. We are a breastfeeding friendly coffee shop.

I went to Lollipops for the first time since they re-opened. I took my toddler to try and get some hand prints on pottery - It’s harder than it looks! Luckily Emma was on hand to help us get the perfect prints. She was great with my little one and showed us how to do it. There’s lots of space across the two studios - they’re set up really well and it feels safe and clean. Loads of choice of items - everything you can imagine and more. Highly recommend Lollipops to anyone looking for a few hours of crafting, making that special gift or just entertaining the kids! Great selection of food and drink, we went back the next day just for ice cream!!

Livi Lollipop

I'm Livi & started face painting 8+ years ago whilst living in Berlin. I fell in love with face painting as it enabled me to combine my creativity with working with kids. For several years I dressed up as a fairy & brought colour & sparkles to thousands of birthday parties & events all over Leicester & London. It feels like now is the time to hang up my wings & pass on what I've learned to anyone who wants to learn this amazing, colourful & joyful skill - professionally or as a hobby.
