We chose the Wangaratta to Milawa section of the Trail as it was the flatest. We are not seasoned bike riders but this was a great path. In total we completed over 40klms return trip which was relatively easy going for us. Some lovely country side. You could also walk sections of the Trail. A really good fun activity for the whole family just pick which section and how experienced you are at riding. We will do another section some time in the future.

This was our third time renting bike gear for the rail trail. Very well prepared bikes as usual including repair kit (not needed) panniers, SPD pedals and friendly staff. Everything was ready and prepared when we arrived at the shop. All we had to do was pack the panniers and head off on the rail trail. And they were happy for us to leave our city clothes/ luggage at the shop for 7 days. Too easy! They also have a good range of bikes for rent and sale. Highly recommended.
